MUDr. Katarína Konvičková.
A human approach and thoroughness come first. Alongside ophthalmology, I continuously train in aesthetic medicine, allowing me to offer care for both the eyes and the skin around them under one roof.
I studied medicine at Palacký University in Olomouc, graduating in 2008.
After graduating I joined the ophthalmology department in Šumperk, and from 2009 worked at the Military Hospital in Olomouc. From 2010, at the Eye Centre in Prague, I focused on refractive laser surgery, cataract operations, intravitreal anti-VEGF injections, and eyelid plastic surgery.
In 2013 I passed my specialist board examination in ophthalmology. From 2014 at the TANA Eye Clinic in Olomouc I managed a full range of ophthalmic conditions, refractive laser procedures, eyelid surgery, and intraocular lens calculations before cataract surgery.
Since 2025 I have opened my own private practice — Oftalesthe. I offer comprehensive eye examinations for adults and children from age 4, glaucoma diagnostics and monitoring, upper and lower eyelid surgery, aesthetic skin treatments, and botulinum toxin therapy.
Three areas of care, one practice.
Diagnosis and treatment of common and chronic eye conditions, eyelid procedures, and facial aesthetic medicine — all after consultation with a single doctor.
